The Adult Sunday School will be starting a DVD Bible study on March 9. The study explores how the Old Testament Psalms predict Christ’s ministry.

Our church is in need of a member to serve in assisting in keeping track of our finances. This volunteer role would work with the treasurer and finance committee in those efforts. If you have a few hours each month that you would be willing to dedicate to this effort plus a good financial background, please contact Denise Jones.
If you wish to contribute to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) efforts to assist those affected by the fires, you may simply write out a check to the church and put UMCORUSDR in the memo line. We will consolidate the funds and send them in.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will begin at 4:30pm on Tuesday.
This Tuesday is Christmas Eve and the sanctuary will be open during the day so that if you wish come, pray, just be in a place of quiet thought to simply consider the gifts of Christmas from the perspective of Jesus, Our Savior.

Macon UMC sent 35 pounds of Devotional and Bibles to Love Packages. Love Packages has distributed 1500 tons of materials to 22 nations this year
December 8 following worship. An opportunity to have lunch, purchase some baked goods and craft items with all the funds raised being used for the outreach ministries of our United Women in Faith. It is always fun and the food is fantastic!

Yes, it is time to dig out those ugly Christmas Sweaters and wear them to church. This is part of enjoying the life that God has blessed us with. The choir will also be singing.

The Finance Committee will meet at 6:30 and Administrative Council at 7:00 in the Pastor’s Office.
Our annual event to transform the sanctuary for the season of Advent will take place immediately following worship next Sunday (11/24/2024). Many hands make for quick work. Pizza lunch will happen after.
